Heinz

Developing and organising an Experience Day for marketers and product managers of Heinz. The kick off was a presentation and discussion at the head office of FunX Radio in Rotterdam. A lunch and discussion were organized at a Turkish Restaurant. Erasmus University was chosen as the venue for discussions with some 20 youngsters of Turkish, Moroccan, Pakistani, Cape Verdean, Surinamese, Antillean, Chinese and Bosnian backgrounds. The West Kruiskade was the place for a ‘multicultural’ shopping experience. In the evening, one group experienced cooking and dining with a Turkish family, while another group experienced cooking and dining with a Surinamese family.

Presentation and discussions on how to develop content for TV Shows on the Netherlands Public Television, intending to integrate the various ethnic cultural communities as an integral part of their target groups.

City of The Hague

As a result of a decreasing market share of public schools in The Hague, Downtown Actiemarketing and TransCity have held a series of workshops for the directors of public schools in The Hague on how to use direct marketing techniques to get parents to consider the various public schools for their children. Of course the issue of how to target the large Asian, African and South American communities in The Hague was addressed as an integral part of these workshops.

Workshops for employees of Belastingdienst (Netherlands Tax Office) on how to recruit job seekers from the various ethnic cultural, communities in the Netherlands.

CWI - Netherlands Centre for Work and Income

This Netherlands Centre for Work and Income provides placement services and information on the labour market for employers and job seekers. Workshops were given for clients of CWI (employers) on the character of cultural diversity in the Netherlands and how this diversity could benefit their business.

Netherlands Ministry of Education (OCW)

Presentation and workshops on communications in culturally diverse societies for informations offiers of various cities. These information officers have the objective of encouraging parents from migrant communities to send their children to swimming lessons at the age of 5.

Telfort

Presentation and workshop for marketers of Telfort Telecom, aiming to inspire marketers on how to include the various communities as an integral part of their marketing and communicatioons target groups.

Presentation for marketers of ING Group on the character of cultural diversity in the Netherands through the eyes of a marketer.
